How to Set Default Country Code in Address Block

This document explains how to set the default country in the Address block of your checkout form. It also covers how to add the Address block if it is not already present.

Requirements

  • WordPress admin access
  • SureCart installed and activated
  • A checkout form already created

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Go to WordPress Dashboard → SureCart → Custom Forms.
  • Click to edit your checkout form.

Add the Address Block (If Needed)

If you do not see a Address block in your form:

  • Click the + Add Block button in the form editor.
  • Search for Address.
  • Select the block to add it to your form.
  • Click Save to save your changes.

If the Address block is already present in the form, simply click on it to continue.

Set the Default Country

  • Click the Address block.
  • In the right-hand settings panel, scroll to find the Default Country option.
  • Select your preferred default country.
  • Click Save to save the changes.

Expected Outcome

The selected country will be pre-selected for customers in the Address section during checkout.

Notes and Limitations

  • The Address block can be used for both physical and digital products.
  • If you are selling digital products only, the block label can be renamed to better match your checkout flow.
  • Changes apply immediately after updating the form.
