How to Connect Stripe Payment Processor

How to Begin The Setup

When you’re ready to connect SureCart and Stripe together, simply log in to your WordPress admin area and follow these easy steps:

1. From the SureCart Dashboard, navigate to the Settings menu.
   

2. Then click on Payment Processors. This will open a screen with all available processors.
   

How to Connect Stripe in Test Mode

Before you connect the live Stripe payment processor, you can connect Stripe in test mode. This allows you to set up the payment processor in a safe testing environment.

Once you’ve tested the setup, you can proceed to connect Stripe in live mode. We’ve explained further in this article how to connect Stripe in Live Mode.

For now, to connect the test payment, simply follow these steps:

1.  Click on the Stripe toggle to access the SureCart platform.
   

2.  Click on the “Test Mode” tab.
   

3.  Click the “Connect” button to open the Stripe website.
   

4. Enter your Stripe email address and click “Continue.”
   

5. Insert your Stripe password, then click on “Log in.”
   

6. Insert your verification code. Once you do, you will be automatically redirected to the next screen.
   

7. Select the Stripe store you want to connect with SureCart, and then click on the Connect button.
   

8. You will see a message indicating that you will be redirected to the SureCart platform.
   

9. After being redirected from Stripe, you will notice a green notice at the top of your screen, confirming that you have successfully connected your Stripe account. The button will now be enabled.
   

10. Now, head back to your WordPress page and refresh it. After doing so, you will notice a green tag indicating that you have successfully connected your Stripe account in test mode.
    

How to Connect a Live Stripe Account

After successfully setting up Stripe in test mode and ensuring a smooth payment process, it’s time to move on to the live payment integration. 

Let’s get started!

1. Please click on the Stripe toggle to open the SureCart platform.
   

2. Click on the “Connect” button to open the Stripe website.
   

3.  If you’re already logged in, you’ll only need to select the live Stripe store you want to connect with SureCart. Once you’ve selected the store, click on the “Connect” button to continue.
   

4.  You will be automatically redirected to the SureCart platform.
   

5. Once you are redirected from Stripe, you will see a green notice at the top of your screen, confirming that you have successfully connected your Stripe account, and the button will be enabled.
   

6. Go to your WordPress page and refresh it. Once you do, you will see a green tag indicating that you have successfully connected your Stripe account in live mode.
   

Congratulations! You’ve successfully enabled Stripe in both Live and Test modes, and you’re now ready to make sales, whether in live or test mode.
