How to Enable Bank Transfer, Klarna, Clearpay, and More On Your SureCart Store

How to Configure Bank Transfer, Klarna, Clearpay, and More on Your SureCart Store.

Stripe not only supports credit card payments but also various other payment options. This includes popular options like ACH, Klarna, Clearpay, iDEAL, and much more.

The best part? Many times, these alternative payment options mean lower fees for merchants.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to easily add these options to your SureCart checkout forms.

Enable Payment Options in Stripe

To use these payment options, we need to enable them both in Stripe as well as in your SureCart account. Let’s start with the Stripe steps.

  • Login to your Stripe account, the one connected to your SureCart store.
  • Here, click on Settings, and then select Payment methods on the following screen.
  • You’ll find various payment options here, including wallets, links, bank debits, and more.
  • You can enable any payment option by clicking the Turn On button next to its name.
  • Let’s use the “ACH Direct Debit” option as an example for this guide. As you can see, it’s already Active on our Stripe dashboard.

Webhooks are typically pre-configured when you are using SureCart. So, simply click Turn On Anyway if prompted.

Enable Payment Options on Your WordPress Website

Now that we’ve enabled the payment option on Stripe, let’s do the same on your WordPress site.

  • From your WordPress dashboard, Navigate to the Advanced tab, under SureCart Settings.
SureCart advanced tab
  • Here, look for Legacy Features and toggle on the Use The Stripe Card Element button.
  • Click on the Save button located just below to apply these changes.

That’s it! You have successfully enabled ACH Direct Debit in your SureCart checkout forms. Customers based in the US also have an extra option to pay using their frequently used payment method.

Now, when customers go to the checkout form, they’ll see this extra payment option “US bank account” available for them.

Note: Stripe will display ACH Direct Debit only when you present pricing in a supported currency and use a supported payment flow.

You can try out and enable multiple payment options for your customers and see what works best for you!

That’s everything. We hope this guide helped you. Please free to reach out to our support team if you have any more questions.
