How to Begin The Setup
To connect PayPal with SureCart effortlessly, follow these straightforward steps within your WordPress admin area:
- From the SureCart Dashboard, navigate to the Settings menu.
- Then click on Payment Processors. This will open a screen with all available processors.
How to Connect Paypal in Test Mode
Before you link the live PayPal payment system, you can connect PayPal in test mode. This lets you establish the payment system in a secure testing setup.
Please keep in mind that we will guide you through the process of connecting PayPal with SureCart in test mode; however, you can follow same steps to connect PayPal in live mode as well.
For now, follow these steps to connect the test payment:
- Click on the Paypal toggle to access the SureCart platform.
- Click on the “Test Mode” tab. But if you want to connect PayPal in Live Mode, you can click on Live Mode and follow the next steps.
- Click the “Connect” button to open the PayPal website.
- Enter your PayPal email address and click the “Next” button.
- Insert your PayPal password, then click on the “Log in” button.
- Click on the “Go back to Test Store” button so you will be redirected to the SureCart platform.
- After being redirected from Paypal, you will notice a green notice at the top of your screen, confirming that you have successfully connected your PayPal account. The button will now be enabled.
- Now, head back to your WordPress page and refresh it. After doing so, you will notice a green tag indicating that you have successfully connected your PayPal account in test mode.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully enabled PayPal in Test mode, and you’re now ready to make a test purchase using PayPal.
