How to Edit Customer Details on an Invoice

SureCart lets you adjust customer details on their invoice after a purchase.

This article guides you on how to do it, and when you might not be able to make changes.

Invoices With Taxes

If tax was collected for an invoice, you will not be able to adjust the customer details. Since tax is calculated at the time the invoice is paid the customer’s address and tax ID/VAT information is locked at this point in time.

You can determine if tax was calculated for an invoice if there is a Tax column on the invoice.

Invoices Without Taxes

If tax was not calculated for an invoice, you can update the customer details.

This can be done by editing the customers record from your WordPress dashboard.

Another way to do this is to have your customer edit their own details from the customer dashboard.
