Sequential vs Random order numbers

Depending on your business needs and preferences, you can choose between two types of order numbers with SureCart: sequential and random. Follow the steps below in order to configure them.

Sequential Order Number

In order to configure the Sequential Order Number, follow the steps bellow:

Step 1: Please navigate to the WordPress dashboard and click on SureCart > Settings > Orders & Receipts

To configure the Sequential Order Numbers, navigate to the Sequential Order Numbers Counter section and select the starting number of your choice. The default is 1, but you’re free to choose any number that suits your needs.

Random Order Numbers

To have a Random Order Number, just follow the step 2 below.

Step 2: Click in the dropdown menu Orders Numbers Counter (1) then select Random Numbers And Letters (2) and click save.

Here is how it will look like in the SureCart > Orders page after you hit the save button:

You can see the **Prefix** (in red) separated by a dash and a **Random Order Number** (in green).

To set the Order Number Prefix, follow the steps 1 to 3 presented in the image bellow.

Setting a language

To setup the language of your Emails and Receipts follow the steps bellow:

Step 1: Go to your browser, type app.surecart.com and login with your credentials.

Step 2: Go to Settings (1) and in the Store Language, select in the dropdown (2) the language you want and click Save (3).
