How to Create a Product Bundle in SureCart

This document explains how to create a product bundle in SureCart. A product bundle groups multiple existing products together and sells them as a single item at a price you set.

Requirements

  • WordPress admin access
  • SureCart installed and activated
  • At least two published products to include in the bundle

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Go to WordPress Dashboard → SureCart → Products → Bundles.
  • Click Add Bundle.
  • In the Create new Bundle screen, type a name in the Bundle name field, then click Create.
  • The Edit Bundle screen opens. In the Pricing section, add a price and set the bundle price. Optionally, set a Compare at price to display a reference (struck-through) price.
  • In the Bundle Products section, click Add Product and select each product to include. Repeat for every product in the bundle.
  • To reorder the products, drag and drop them into the desired order. This order is reflected in the cart and checkout.
  • Click Publish.

Expected Outcome

Once published, the bundle is available as a purchasable product. On the product page, the bundle displays its price (and the compare-at price, if set). The included products appear in the cart and checkout summary. When a customer purchases the bundle, they receive access to all included products.

Notes and Limitations

  • The bundle price is set independently and is not calculated from the sum of the included products. The Compare at price is a reference field and is not validated against the combined price of the included products.
  • Shipping and tax for a bundle are determined by the products inside it, not configured on the bundle directly.
  • If an included product has variants, customers select those variants on the bundle’s product page.
  • The included products are shown in the cart and checkout, not listed on the bundle’s product page by default. Because a bundle uses a standard product page, it can be customized with the Content Designer.
