Migrating SureCart to Another WordPress Install

Migrating your SureCart store to another WordPress site is possible using migration plugins.

One such plugin that is recommended by many SureCart users is the Duplicator plugin.

Please note: This documentation was created using the Pro version of the Duplicator plugin for simplicity. If you have the Free version, you must manually upload the Installer and Archive files to the root directory of your destination site.

For detailed usage instructions, please refer to the Duplicator documentation.

After successfully migrating your installation, make sure to verify your SureCart store by following the steps covered in the next section.

Verifying Your SureCart Store

After logging into your new site, navigate to SureCart to ensure all data has been migrated successfully.

Start by going to the SureCart Dashboard page. If you are on a different URL, select the action button that is most appropriate for your situation.

Check your products, orders, and settings to ensure everything works correctly.

Additional Tips

  • Update Permalinks: Go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes to ensure your permalinks are updated.
  • Recheck Plugins and Themes: Ensure all your plugins and themes are active and updated as per the source site.

By following these steps, you should be able to migrate your SureCart store to another WordPress installation with ease using the Duplicator plugin.

If you encounter any issues, refer to the Duplicator documentation or seek support from the plugin’s developers.
