Manually Assign Affiliates to Orders/Customers

This document explains how to manually assign affiliates to customers, orders, or subscriptions in SureCart, allowing affiliates to receive credit for future purchases or subscription renewals.

Requirements

• WordPress admin access
• SureCart installed and activated
• An active affiliate program
• At least one existing customer, order, or subscription

Manually Assign an Affiliate to a Customer for Future Purchases

You can assign an affiliate to a customer so that the affiliate receives commission for future purchases made by that customer.

• Go to WordPress Dashboard → SureCart → Customers.

• Select the customer you want to edit.
• In the Affiliate Commissions section, select the affiliate you want to credit.

• (Optional) Click the three-dot menu and select Update to set an expiration date.

• Choose the date and time until which the affiliate should receive commissions.
  • Leave this field empty to pay commissions indefinitely.

• Click Save Customer to apply the changes.

Manually Assign an Affiliate to a Subscription for Future Renewals

You can also assign an affiliate to receive commissions for subscription renewals.

• Go to WordPress Dashboard → SureCart → Subscriptions.

• Select the subscription you want to edit.
• Choose the affiliate you want to credit for subscription renewals.

• (Optional) Click the three-dot menu to set a commission expiration date.
  • Leave this field unchanged to allow commissions indefinitely.
• Click Update to save the changes.

Expected Outcome

After completing these steps, the selected affiliate will receive commission credit for future customer purchases or subscription renewals according to the configured settings.

Notes and Limitations

• Existing orders and past commissions are not affected.
• Manual affiliate assignments apply only to future purchases or renewals.
• Leaving the expiration date empty enables commissions indefinitely.
