How to Manage Affiliates From Your WordPress Dashboard

We understand the challenges associated with overseeing multiple affiliates. It can be overwhelming, especially when relying on various external add-ons and navigating multiple screens and interfaces.

This guide will show you how to create and manage affiliates for your store directly via the WordPress dashboard.

Creating an Affiliate Signup Form

This form allows interested affiliates to sign up and promote your store. Creating the form is straightforward, and configuring it is even simpler.

Here’s how to get started:

• Go to SureCart Settings > Affiliates and enable this option.

• Provide basic information about your affiliate program and share the signup link with affiliates. This is the form they’ll use to sign up.

• Choose how you want to track each affiliate’s referrals. This helps you decide which affiliate candidate to pay after a referral.

• Set the commission rate and payout instructions for your affiliates.

Processing Affiliate Requests

When affiliates sign up using the form mentioned above, you’ll see a new request in your WordPress dashboard.

• You can find these requests at SureCart > Affiliates > Requests.

• You can approve, deny, or delete the request by clicking on the affiliate’s name and the Actions dropdown menu.

The affiliate will receive a link to sign up on our affiliate platform if approved. Then, they can promote your store using a special link they’ll receive. 

Note: Affiliates can find this link in Settings on their affiliate platform dashboard:

• You’ll also notice the affiliate added at the SureCart > Affiliates section on your WordPress dashboard.

Tracking Affiliate Link Clicks

These are all the clicks made through a specific affiliate’s unique URL. 

For instance, if an affiliate shares their special link and people click on it, you can see the updates in real time here.

This section includes the affiliate’s name and their special URL so that you can see which affiliate is drawing in more clicks.

To get more data about these clicks and how they’re converting into sales, just login to the SureCart platform.

Tracking Affiliate Referrals 

A referral happens when customers click on an affiliate’s special URL and make a purchase in your store.

You’ll be notified about this referral at SureCart > Affiliates > Referrals.

You can approve, deny, edit, or delete this referral here based on your preferences.

Optionally, you can enable this option to track your referrals in test mode. 

The test mode is useful if you want to test how your affiliate process works.

Paying Your Affiliates

Every approved referral deserves a fair commission for the affiliate.

To process these commissions, go to the Payouts in your WordPress dashboard and follow these steps:

• Navigate to SureCart > Payouts, and click on the Add New button.

• Select the affiliate candidate you want to pay along with the end period for processing the payout. 

Click on the Create button once done. SureCart will generate a list of all payouts that meet the specified criteria and assign them the Processing status.
