How to Change a Form Template

This document explains how to change the template of an existing checkout form in SureCart and what to expect when performing this action.

Requirements

• WordPress admin access
• SureCart installed and activated
• An existing checkout form

Important Behavior to Understand

Changing a checkout form template replaces the current form entirely.

When you change the template:

• All existing form customizations are removed
• The form must be configured again from scratch

This action cannot be undone.

Change the Checkout Form Template

Follow the steps below to change a checkout form template.

• Go to WordPress Dashboard → SureCart → Forms.
• Select the checkout form you want to edit.
• In the form settings panel, click Change Template.

• Review the confirmation message.
• Click OK to confirm the action.

• Select a new checkout template from the available designs.
• Click Next.

• Click Create.

The new template will replace the existing form.

Reconfigure the Checkout Form

After the new template is created, configure the checkout form again according to your needs, including products, layout, and settings.

Expected Outcome

After completing these steps, the checkout form will use the newly selected template, with all previous configurations removed and replaced by the new design.

Notes and Limitations

• Changing the template permanently removes existing form configurations.
• The previous template and settings cannot be restored.
• This action affects only the selected checkout form.
