PayPal IPN Warning Emails
Some SureCart users may receive warning emails from PayPal about Instant Payment Notification (IPN) failures.
You can safely ignore these emails. This issue is due to an error on PayPal’s side and does not affect your SureCart transactions or account security.

Understanding the Problem
PayPal sends IPNs to notify merchants about events related to PayPal transactions.
Recently, some SureCart users have reported receiving warning emails from PayPal indicating that IPNs sent to a SureCart at https://app.surecart.com/ are failing.
What Should You Do?
This email is sent in error. SureCart does not use IPNs, so no action is required from users.
Users can safely ignore these emails. PayPal may send a few of these messages, but they do not indicate a problem with SureCart or the user’s PayPal account.

Below is an example of the warning email some users are receiving from PayPal:
Subject: PayPal Instant Payment Notification Warning Email: Hello, Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing: https://app.surecart.com If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account. Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue. PROTECT YOUR PASSWORD NEVER give your password to anyone, including PayPal employees. Protect yourself against fraudulent websites by opening a new web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Firefox) and typing in the PayPal URL every time you log in to your account.
