How to Change Order Placement Texts for Checkout Forms

This document explains how to customize the text messages displayed during and after order placement in SureCart checkout forms, including loading and success messages.

Requirements

  • WordPress admin access
  • SureCart installed and activated
  • An existing checkout form

Order Placement Text Overview

During checkout, customers see different messages after clicking the purchase button, such as loading and success confirmations.

SureCart allows you to customize these texts to better match your store’s tone and messaging.

Change the Loading Text

The loading text appears immediately after a customer places an order and while the payment is being processed.

  • Go to WordPress Dashboard → SureCart → Forms.
  • Open the checkout form you want to edit.
  • Click the form header to display the checkout form settings.
  • Open the Loading Text section.
  • Customize the following fields as needed:
    • Submitting Order
    • Processing Payment
    • Confirming Payment
    • Success Text
  • Click Update to save the changes.

You can perform a test purchase to preview how the updated messages appear during checkout.

Change the Success Text Popup

The success text is displayed in a popup window after an order is successfully completed.

  • Open the checkout form you want to edit.
  • Click the form header to display the form settings.
  • Open the Success Text section.
  • Customize the following fields:
    • Title – The popup title
    • Description – The message shown to the customer
    • Button Text – The call-to-action button label
  • Click Update to save the changes.

After saving, you can run a test purchase to verify how the success popup appears to customers.

Expected Outcome

After completing these steps, the checkout form will display customized loading and success messages during order placement, reflecting the configured text settings.

Notes and Limitations

  • Text changes apply only to the checkout form being edited.
  • Existing orders are not affected by text updates.
  • Testing is recommended to confirm the visual flow and wording.
