How to Change Order Placement Texts for Checkout Forms
When your customers make a purchase from your checkout form, they see different messages after they click on the purchase button like a loading message and a success message.
Your customers see the default text after successfully placing an order, but SureCart offers easy options for customizing this text.
In this documentation, we will learn how you can change this text to match your needs.
How to Change the Loading Text
The loading text becomes visible after a customer places an order. Here is how it appears after the customer clicks the Purchase button.
To change this text, follow these steps:
- Go to the WordPress dashboard, navigate to SureCart > Forms, and open the form for which you want to change the loading message.
- Click the top area of the form to display the checkout form options.
- On the right side, click the Loading text tab.
- Fill out the details for the following fields as per your preference.
- Submitting Order
- Processing Payment
- Confirming Payment
- Success Text
- Once you have made your changes, click on the Update button.
- Next, you can do a test purchase to see how the messages appear.
That’s it, now you have eye-catching, customized loading text ready!
Changing the Success Text on Pop-Up
The success text appears in a small popup window after your customer successfully places an order. Here’s how it looks.
If you want to customize the texts that appear on this pop-up, follow the steps below.
- Open the Success Text section while editing the checkout form.
- Fill out the details for the following fields:
- Title: The title of the popup window
- Description: A message for the user
- Button Text: The text on the button
- Once you have made your changes, click on the Update button.
After your checkout form has been updated, you can make a test purchase to see how the text would look to your customers.
By following the simple steps in this documentation, you can easily customize your order placement texts to improve the user experience for your customers.
