How to Filter and Display Featured Products

Enable a Query Loop

The Query Loop feature allows you to dynamically display and filter content based on your specified parameters. Follow the step below to enable it.

• In your Bricks Builder editor, toggle on “Query loop.” This will allow you to filter your product posts.

Select the Correct Post Type

To ensure your query loop retrieves the desired type of content, you can select the post type that matches your needs. Follow the step below to configure this setting.

• Set “Post Type” to “SureCart Product.” This ensures that the loop retrieves SureCart products rather than standard WordPress posts.

Add a Meta Query

Meta queries allow you to filter your posts further by adding specific conditions to your query loop settings. Here’s how to add one.

• Under the “Posts” query settings, locate “Meta Query.”

• Click “+ Add Meta Query” to add a new condition.

Configure the Meta Query for Featured Products

Add the configuration as shown below:

• In “Meta key,” enter: featured
• In “Meta value,” enter: 1
• Set “Compare” to: Equal
• Leave “Type” as CHAR (or auto-detect if available).

Save and Test

Once you’ve configured your query loop settings, it’s important to save your changes and test the results to ensure everything works as expected.

• Save your changes.

• Preview or check the live page to confirm that only products marked as featured (meta value = 1) are displayed.

That’s it! You now have a custom query loop in Bricks Builder that filters and displays only your featured SureCart products.
