Types of Products You Can Create/Sell with SureCart

Currently, SureCart offers the ability to create three types of products:

Physical Products: These are tangible items that require shipping and order fulfillment options to be enabled. You can easily set up these products by following the steps mentioned in this article.

Digital Products: If you have downloadable content, such as e-books or software, you can create a downloadable products.

Subscription Products: SureCart also supports subscription-based products. You can create products for which you want to collect monthly/weekly/yearly recurring payments. For example – streaming services, billing systems for softwares, monthly course fees, etc.

Please note that we are continuously working on expanding our product options and will update this section accordingly.

Regardless of the product type you choose, the steps for creating products remain the same.

How to Create a Product?

If you’re on a free SureCart plan, you can add up to 100 products, but if you upgrade to a paid plan, you can create unlimited products.

• Go to the WordPress Dashboard and select SureCart > Products from the menu. Then click on the “Add New” button in the top left corner.

• You’ll be directed to a new page where you can enter your product name. Fill in the Product Name field and click the “Create” button.

• On the Edit Product page, add all details related to the product like name, and description.

• Add images that you want to display on the purchase page for this product.

• Decide pricing for the product. You can set up pricing for different types of products like One-time/Subscription/Installment/Trial.

• If you’re creating a digital product like an E-book, you can add product download links for this product. If not, you can skip this step.

• If you want to take action in other apps when someone buys this product, you can add integrations to this product. This is an optional step.

For example – If you want someone to get enrolled in a LearnDash course when they buy this product, you can add LearnDash integration.

• Next, if you want to generate and send license keys to people who buy your product, you can add licensing to this product. If this is not required, you can skip this step.

• For SEO purposes, you can specify the page title and meta description for this product that can be displayed in search engine results.

• Then you can decide the shipping settings for this product. If it’s a physical product, you can add the weight of the product so the shipping amount is calculated as per your shipping profile.

• Next comes tax, if you want to collect taxes for this product, you can enable the tax option. You can learn more about collecting taxes here.

• If you wish to add purchase limits per customer for this product, you have the option to set limits.

For example – if you want 1 person to buy this product once, simply add ‘1’ in the field.

• At last, you can set up publishing settings based on your preference.

• Click on the ‘Save Product’ button.

Congratulations! You have successfully created your product. Now you can share this product with anyone using instant checkout pages, or simply link the pricing of this product as buy buttons using shortcodes, hyperlinks, etc.
