How to Create invoices in SureCart
In this article, we’ll help you understand how you can create invoices in SureCart in a detailed yet simple manner.
How to Create a Invoice?
- Go to the WordPress Dashboard and select SureCart > Orders > Invoices from the menu. Then click on the “Add New” button in the top left corner.
- You’ll be directed to a new page where you can fill all the details of the invoice. We will learn this step by step.
- First, click on “Add Product” to add the product to your invoice.
- Products – You can use the search function to choose a product from the list.
- Once the product is added to the invoice, you can change the quantity or add more products.
- Address – In the Address field, provide all relevant information related to the address.
- Payment – In the Payment section, enter the coupon code if you wish to apply a discount to the invoice.
- Additional Information – At the end you have an option to add additionall information such is an:
- Memo – This is displayed in the memo section of your payment page, invoices, and receipts.
- Footer – The footer message is displayed at the bottom of your invoices and receipts.
- Invoice Summary – In this section, you can specify various important parameters related to your invoice.
- Status – While creating your invoice it will be in the Draft mode, once you save it will be published
- Issue Date – Select the date on which the invoice is issued or released to ensure accurate record-keeping and payment tracking.
- Due Date – Choose the due date for the invoice, which indicates when payment is expected.
- Customer – Use the search function to find the user for whom you wish to create this invoice. Once you’ve located them, click on their name to select it.
- Tax – in the Tax section you can select to charge tax for this invoice or not.
- Tax Inclusion – In this section, you can specify whether the tax is included or excluded from the invoice.
- Tax ID – You can input the Tax ID in this field.
- Create Invoice – In this final step, review your information carefully, and if you are confident that everything is correct, you can click the Create Invoice button to generate the invoice.
Congratulations! You have successfully created your invoice.
Once you publish invoice several things will happen
- Email will be sent to the customer
- You will be able to share invoice by the link
- Your Invoice will get the number
- Your invoice will get Shipping and Billing address
