How to Set Up a Password Field During the Checkout Process

SureCart provides your customers with a dedicated dashboard to conveniently access information about their previous orders, ongoing subscriptions, and other account details. It is like a “My Account” section that shows the customer’s details.

There are two straightforward methods for your customers to access this user-friendly dashboard:

  1. Via Email Link: Customers can access their dashboard by simply clicking on a link provided in the email notification they receive after making a purchase. Upon clicking the link, they will be redirected to the customer dashboard, where they can set up a password for future access.
  2. Checkout Form Password Setup: Alternatively, you can set up a “Customer Dashboard Password” field within your checkout form. This helps customers to create their passwords during the checkout process. Afterward, they can use their registered email and the chosen password to log in directly to their customer dashboard.

In this article, we will guide you through setting up the password field for your customers’ convenience.
