What's New in SureCart

New:

• SureCart MCP now allows filtering of orders, customers, and subscriptions with advanced rule-based conditions.

Improvements:

• Better compatibility with caching plugins and hosts by keeping dynamic pages like checkout from being cached and served stale.
• The checkout Order Bumps block now matches the cart version, with a full styled preview in the editor and a “Hide added items” option so customers aren’t offered products already in their order.
• The feedback survey now only appears on the SureCart Dashboard and Settings screens instead of across all SureCart admin pages.
• Faster WooCommerce importing removing duplicate background queries from WooCommerce import status checks.

Fixes:

• Checkout Country and State dropdowns accessiblity issue.
• Facebook (Meta) Pixel now dedupes purchase events that handles and edge case where purchases can be doubled in some instances.
• Block editor no longer fails to load pages containing SureCart blocks on some sites (such as those using certain plugins or starter templates).
• Site menus and navigation no longer break on the front end for logged-in users on some themes (such as Astra Pro) due to a script conflict on checkout pages.
• Customer portal now shows the product’s downloads on the download detail page when a purchased variant has downloads enabled but no files of its own.
• Shop search and filters no longer close unexpectedly on some Android devices when the on-screen keyboard opens.
• Checkout order summary styling — the “Summary” heading no longer wraps mid-word with dual-currency prices, and trial fee and description text can now be styled with custom CSS.
• Removed a PHP 8.4 deprecation notice.

Fix:

• Billing email sometimes not being sent to Stripe when logged-in customers complete checkout.

New:

• Auto Login Prompt at Checkout: Returning customers are now automatically prompted to log in when their email matches an existing account at checkout. This saves them from re-entering details and helps complete the purchase faster.
  
  You can enable it from SureCart → Settings → Orders & Invoices → Checkout → Show Login Prompt at Checkout
• Login with Access Code at Checkout: Returning customers can now sign in with a one-time code sent to their email. No password required. Customers can still choose to log in with their password if they prefer. This helps reduce checkout friction, improves security, and makes it easier for returning customers to complete their purchase.
  
  No additional setup required. This works automatically alongside the Login Prompt at Checkout feature.
• Refreshed Order Bump Design: Order bumps now feature a cleaner, modern design with prominent rounded buttons that help increase visibility without feeling intrusive.
  
  New stores will use the modern design by default. Existing stores will continue using the classic checkbox design after upgrading to avoid unexpected checkout changes.
  
  To switch to the new design, go to: SureCart → Settings → Advanced → Checkout → Modern Order Bump Design
  Note: Clear your page cache after changing this setting.
• Create Custom-Amount Invoices with AI (MCP): SureCart’s MCP Server now supports custom-amount invoices. Connected AI tools like Claude, Cursor, and others can create invoices with any amount you specify. Perfect for consulting, custom services, donations, project fees, and other one-off charges.
  
  Simply set up a reusable product with a Pay What You Want price, then tell your AI who to invoice and for how much. The AI can create and send the invoice without requiring a new product for every charge.
  
  Don’t have a product set up yet? Your AI can create one for you in the same conversation.
  Example: “Create a $250 invoice for john@example.com for consulting work.”

Improvements:

• Place Product Review Anywhere Using Shortcodes: You can now display product review content like rating stars, average rating, total review count, anywhere on your site using the new product_id parameter.

Fixes:

• Quantity input background color missing on product page.
• Fatal error on product pages on PHP 8+ with themes that pass image attributes as a string (e.g. Enfold).
• Checkout error with the Japan postal code field due to an invalid validation pattern.
• “Write a Review” button throwing an error when used on non-product pages.
• “Write a Review” button appearing invisible on the frontend with some classic themes.

Fixes:

• Issue with “Redeem By” date in admin being interpreted by browser timezone instead of server.
• Minor security issue (Props to PatchStack).
• Issue where admin product edit page can be blank for some users during upgrade in specific caching settings.

Fixes:

• Issue with nps service error when a plugin enumerates registered assets.
• Minor security issue.
• Subscription saver modal issues in dark mode.

Fix:

• Issue with product review button not working if placed outside product review form context.

• Import products from WooCommerce.

Improvements:

• Add price condition to conditional form block.
• Ability to enable SureCart WordPress capabilities without needing to install the MCP plugin.

• Variant stock does not trigger out-of-stock state when parent tracking is disabled.
