Returning customers no longer have to leave the checkout page just to sign in.
SureCart now detects existing customers based on their email address and prompts them to log in right from the checkout. They can sign in using their password or choose a one-time access code sent directly to their email.
Once logged in, their saved information is automatically filled in, making repeat purchases much faster and more convenient.
Redesigned Order Bumps
A well-timed offer can increase average order value without interrupting the buying experience.
That’s why SureCart gave Order Bumps a fresh new look with a cleaner, more modern design that helps additional offers stand out while feeling like a natural part of the checkout flow.
Slide-Out Cart Order Bumps
Customers don’t always need to wait until checkout to discover another product they might want.
With Slide-Out Cart Order Bumps, merchants can now present relevant offers directly inside the cart drawer, creating another opportunity to increase order value before customers even reach the checkout page.
Flexible VAT Tax ID Collection
EU merchants operating under strict VAT compliance requirements can now make the Tax ID field mandatory at checkout.
This sounds like a small checkbox, but for stores selling B2B in Europe, it’s the difference between compliant invoices and hours of manual follow-up. It’s configurable — turn it on when you need it, leave it off when you don’t.

4. Variant Downloads for Smarter Digital Product Delivery
Not every customer should receive the same download.
If you sell digital products with multiple plans or editions, each variant often comes with its own files, resources, or license keys. Until now, managing that in WordPress usually meant creating separate products or finding workarounds.
With Variant Downloads, every product variant can have its own downloadable files and license keys. A “Starter” plan can include a basic download. A “Pro” plan can unlock additional resources. An “Agency” plan can deliver everything, along with an unlimited license. All from a single product page.
Customers simply choose the variant they want, and SureCart automatically delivers the correct files after purchase.

To help merchants meet this requirement, we released the free, open-source SureCart EU Helper plugin.

Once installed, the plugin adds a Right of Withdrawal option to the SureCart Customer Dashboard, allowing eligible customers to submit a withdrawal request through a simple two-step process. Both the customer and merchant receive confirmation emails, and every request is automatically logged for easy tracking and follow-up.

The SureCart EU Helper is designed to be flexible. You can configure the withdrawal period, choose whether the feature applies only to B2C customers, customize the display, and translate everything into your store’s language.
