If you’re using SureCart, a popular eCommerce platform, you may want to customize your checkout page to remove unnecessary fields and make the checkout process smoother for your customers. One field that you may want to remove is the country field. In this article, we’ll explain how to remove the country field from the checkout page of SureCart.

The Country Field

When added to your form, your users need to select the country that they are from, on the checkout page. This is to calculate the Tax based on the country/region the user id is from.

Steps to Stop Displaying the Country Field

If you would like to remove the country field from the SureCart checkout page, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard and click on SureCart > Settings

Step 2: On the Settings page, click on the Taxes option

Step 3: Turn off the radio button next to the Tax Calculations

Step 4: Click on the save button to make the changes permanent
